Hendrix Services Inc. is a premier Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground. Our drivers are the face of our company, the most efficient pick-up and delivery, professional, and friendly in the Ground Delivery Industry. We are now Hiring individuals to work full-time, as Package Delivery Driver.
- This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 150 lbs.
- A DOT physical exam, Background Check and Drug Test are required (Prior to starting you will be sent for a Physical and Drug screen).
- Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license.
- Consistent attendance is required. Employees will be scheduled to work five days each week, with Sundays off, and Saturday is a mandatory workday.
- Full-time employees work typically 10 to 12 hours each workday but can be less depending on volume. Holiday season will require more hours worked.

- QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) Typically Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.; and Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle according to DOT regulations.
- CDL is NOT required. Must Maintain valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.
- Must pass a Road Test, DOT Physical, Drug Test and criminal background check.
- Be at least 21 years of age, properly licensed.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to read maps and/or mapping software.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: You will be operating a complex machine while trying to find addresses, talk to passengers and observing other drivers on the road.
- Punctuality: Drivers are expected to get to their destination on time. Being able to manage your time wisely.
- 1 week paid vacation after 1 full year of employment.
- Candidate must have a cell phone.
