Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full Time LPN Medical Team Administrator (MTA) to join our healthcare team at the Toombs County Jail in Georgia.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced LPN who is ready to take on a leadership-focused role while remaining actively involved in patient care. You'll work a rotating schedule opposite the staff nurse, providing consistency and continuity for the facility's healthcare operations.
While this position carries the MTA title, there is not a large staff to supervise. Instead, the role focuses on helping ensure the medical program runs smoothly, maintaining quality patient care, and serving as a dependable clinical resource for the facility.

Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Complete assessments and monitor patient conditions

Coordinate daily healthcare operations within the facility

Serve as a clinical resource for the healthcare team

Communicate with providers and facility leadership regarding patient care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Assist with ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and procedures

Support continuity and quality of care throughout the facility

Help maintain a safe, professional, and respectful healthcare environment

Current LPN license in the state of Georgia

Current CPR certification

Previous nursing experience required; correctional healthcare experience is a plus

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and exercise sound nursing judgment

Comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day healthcare operations
