EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Education
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED
Pennsylvania Department of Education Instructional Certification required.
Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certification in Instructional Technology Specialist preferred.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience in leading professional development and integrating instructional technology into the classroom including technology assessment tools and navigating online assessments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Demonstrated success in developing and implementing staff professional learning opportunities.
· Ability to design and deliver asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities, including site-based technology-integrated curriculum implementation.
· Competent in analyzing professional learning data and presenting findings to various stakeholders.
· Proven classroom experience in integrating instructional technology into curriculum and instruction including on-line assessment.
· Strong training and support skills with the ability to engage adult learners effectively.
· Knowledge of coaching approaches and effective employment of coaching strategies.
· Proficiency with Windows operating systems, PC-based applications, and productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot).
· Familiarity with multimedia tools such as Adobe Premiere.
· Experience with Macintosh systems and emerging educational technologies.
· Working knowledge of district technology tools and systems sufficient to support professional learning, implementation planning, user support, and communication with IT teams preferred.
· Skilled in utilizing a professional learning management system preferred.
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to present and train diverse audiences, including school-based staff, central office personnel, and executive leadership.
· Ability to support technology integration within professional learning initiatives and actively research and recommend tools and strategies aligned with district goals.
· Proficient in conducting and facilitating professional learning using video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
· Experience supporting teachers and staff in effectively integrating instructional technology into their practice.
· Ability to prioritize workload and make strategic decisions under pressure.
· Ability to cultivate relationships, work independently and collaboratively as a team player, under pressure with multiple competing deadlines, and with culturally, educationally, and racially diverse internal and external customers.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Enthusiastic about the fundamental goal of advancing student achievement in an urban public school district.
