Summary
Crdinates parental engagement/invlvement activities f pupil persnnel services, including cmmunicatins, prcedures/plicies, security/safety matters and ther special prgrams cnsistent with the charge f imprving student achievement and parent engagement by supprting the Directr f Family & Cmmunity Engagement in perfrming the essential duties and respnsibilities utlined belw.
Essential Duties & Respnsibilities
Prvides guidance, training and technical assistance t schl staff n effective parent and c
- mmunity engagement strategies and activities.
Cmmunicates and cllabrates with staff, parents, cmmunity and advcates n issues pertaining t family and c- mmunity engagement.
Prmtes high-quality family and c- mmunity engagement services.
Crdinates supprts fr students and parents t integrate and assimilate int a new sch- l setting.
Keeps accurate and detailed recrds f parental and cmmunity invlvement activities as they pertain t cmmunicati- ns, safety and security planning.
Facilitates nging cmmunicatins/custmer service with cmmunity, families, sch- l and the District.
Facilitates cmmunicatin f the District Cde f Cnduct and assists parents/guardians with the ASD cmmunicatins prtc- l.
Prvides translati- n services, when necessary.
Supprts the implementatin f schl parent and cmmunity invlvement targets and prvides assistance in develping strategies t meet thse gals in rder t sustain parental supprt, invlvement and cmmunicati- n.
Generates reprts related t family and cmmunity engagement participati- n and strategies.
Seeks parent and cmmunity partnerships arund imprving student perfrmance and behavi- r.
Develps strategies fr imprving hme/schl cmmunicati- n.
Participates in sch- l-wide parent engagement activities.
Attends cmmunity meetings t infrm and prmte cmmunity and schl-wide cmmunity and parental inv- lvement activities.
Cllabrates and cperates with ther schls and central departments in meeting the gals f the psiti- n.
Participates in crdinated prgrams f schl/parent liaisns and v- lunteers.
