Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job.
Duties
- Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site or at the home terminal
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A CDL
- Familiarity with dump truck operations and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with 2 years minimum Dump Truck/Quad Axel experience
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to drive a manual truck
- Must have a good attitude
