GENERAL SUMMARY
To support warehouse functional areas including, but not limited to receiving, material movement, order picking, order processing, and shipping by moving material and processing transactions in dedicated business systems throughout the division, while maintaining quality, productivity, safety, and accuracy.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Move material to and from a variety of locations throughout the division.

Maintain storage and supply of protective materials, container liners, pallets, empty tanks, etc. and provide such materials to departments in a timely manner as needed.

Ability to use data terminals, handheld scanning devices, and other computer equipment as required.

Ability to be certified on and operate powered material handling equipment including stand up reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks, and sit-down forklifts.

Ability to count inventory and operate counting equipment such as scales and basic measuring devices.

Complete proper paperwork for material movement.

Work scheduled shifts along with scheduled overtime as assigned.

Observe all shop safety and conduct rules.

SKILLS

Basic math and counting skills

Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices

Ability to be trained and certified to operate powered industrial trucks including reach trucks and order pickers

Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.

Experience in operating a forklift in a safe and productive manner preferred.
