SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the team charged with the production of high-quality feed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supervises the production activities of feed mill team members.
- Oversees feed ingredient sampling.
- Verifies weights on incoming ingredients and reports any discrepancies.
- Helps staff and train mill team members.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in feed mill operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Preferred
- Previous supervisory experience.
