Duties
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move stock safely within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision, ensuring correct quantities and packaging standards are met
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements
- Stock shelves efficiently using proper stocking techniques while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to support accurate inventory management through ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely delivery schedules are maintained
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and stock management
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; certification preferred but not required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms for inventory control
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Competence in basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes including picking & packing for online orders
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
