Position Summary
Pacini Enterprises Inc. is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hands-On Construction Superintendent to oversee and actively participate in the day-to-day construction operations of commercial and multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and the ability to work alongside crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
License and Certifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
Candidates without these credentials will still be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.
· Supervise subcontractors, laborers, equipment operators, and field personnel.
· Actively participate in construction activities as needed, including layout, coordination, problem-solving, and hands-on field work.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
· Coordinate deliveries, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to maximize productivity.
· Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
· Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe and organized job site.
· Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is performed accurately.
· Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen conditions in a timely manner.
· Communicate regularly with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
· Maintain daily reports, job logs, safety documentation, and progress updates.
· Assist with project planning, budgeting, and cost control efforts.
· Coordinate inspections and ensure successful project closeout procedures.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar construction leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
· Ability to read and understand job scopes, specifications, and construction documents.
· Proven experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
· Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on construction work.
· Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
· Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
· OSHA 30 certification preferred.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Ability to navigate active construction sites safely and efficiently.

Pay: $75,800.00 - $100,513.83 per year
