We're a small but rapidly growing company looking for a motivated Business Development Representative who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, send emails, follow up consistently, and create new opportunities. Experience in utility claims or subrogation is helpful, but it's not required. We can teach the industry. What we can't teach is hustle, persistence, and a strong work ethic.

What You'll Do
- Prospect for new business through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Build relationships with utility companies, contractors, municipalities, and other potential clients.
- Follow up consistently until opportunities are closed.
- Help expand our client base through referrals and relationship building.
- Track prospects and activities using our CRM.
- Work closely with our leadership team to develop new business strategies.
- Represent our company with professionalism and integrity.
- Identify new markets and opportunities for growth.
What We're Looking For
We're much more interested in attitude than industry experience.
The ideal candidate is:
- Self-motivated and highly driven.
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls.
- Persistent without being pushy.
- Organized and excellent at following up.
- Friendly, professional, and relationship-focused.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excited to help grow a small business.
Sales, business development, account management, recruiting, customer success, insurance, construction, or utility industry experience is a plus—but not required.
Compensation
This position includes a competitive commission structure with significant upside.
In addition to commissions, you'll have the opportunity to earn residual compensation on the business you help bring in. As long as you remain employed with the company, you'll continue to benefit from the long-term relationships you helped create.
There is no cap on your earning potential.
Schedule
- Flexible schedule
- Approximately 15+ hours per week
- Primarily weekday hours, with occasional evening or weekend flexibility if desired
- This role can work well as a side hustle for the right person and may also be compatible with another full-time position, depending on your availability and work ethic.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
