Job Summary
We are looking for dependable and motivated Spreader to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is for our 3:30 pm – Midnight Shift.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Lay out fabric manually using spreading equipment according to marker and style specifications.
- Inspect materials for defects (e.g., stains, holes, misprints) and report or flag any issues.
- Align material edges and maintain proper tension to prevent distortion or shrinkage during cutting.
- Record material usage and monitor inventory levels to minimize waste.
- Label material spreads accurately for identification and tracking.
- Coordinate with the Cutting Machine Operator and Cutting Supervisor to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Follow production orders and adapt spreading methods based on material type.
- Assist with moving material rolls and loading/unloading spreading equipment.
- Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience a plus but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting layers.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting rolls of fabric (up to 50 lbs).

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
