Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tow truck to assist stranded motorists and transport vehicles to designated locations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls promptly and assist drivers in need
- Safely load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck
- Operate tow truck equipment, including winches and attachments
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring the safety of customers and their vehicles
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on vehicles when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including time, mileage, and services performed
Requirements
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle basic automotive repairs
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience in conflict management to handle stressful situations with customers calmly
- Ability to drive and operate a flatbed tow truck efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients in distress
