About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a strategic Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne initiative within a complex manufacturing and supply chain environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled project leader who combines proven ERP project management expertise with hands-on functional experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Supply Chain Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ERP initiatives while serving as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, functional consultants, technical resources, and executive leadership. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation, optimization, and enhancement projects.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, project teams, and executive leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, risks, issues, and project deliverables.

Leverage hands-on knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Supply Chain Management to facilitate business discussions, guide project decisions, and ensure successful solution delivery.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical consultants, client resources, and third-party vendors.

Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.

Facilitate project governance meetings, executive steering committee meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.

Ensure project documentation, change management activities, testing, training, and deployment plans are completed successfully.

Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders while promoting collaboration, accountability, and project success.

Deliver clear presentations, executive-level communications, and project reporting throughout the engagement.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of ERP project management experience leading enterprise software implementations or optimization initiatives.

5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Supply Chain Management, including modules such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, and/or Distribution.

Proven experience managing ERP projects within manufacturing and supply chain environments.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification is required.

Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.

Strong project planning, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and issue resolution skills.

Exceptional people management, stakeholder management, relationship-building, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

Outstanding written and verbal communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Experience utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to successfully deliver complex ERP initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing priorities in a client-facing consulting environment.

Willingness and ability to travel onsite weekly to the client location in the Southeast United States.
