Job description:
Leaders Staffing is seeking an Automation & Control Technician for a growing manufacturing client in FW. In this role you support automated production systems. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment improvements. This is a Direct Hire role with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and automated control systems
- Support and maintain production equipment
- Diagnose issues with motors, drives, and sensors
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Assist with equipment installs and upgrades
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or electrical certification
- Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)
- Knowledge of drives, servo systems, and automation controls
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred:
- 5+ years in manufacturing
- Mechanical and pneumatic repair experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, ISO standards, or electrical licensing

Experience:
- AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical Certification: 1 year (Preferred)

- Mechanical and pneumatic repair : 1 year (Preferred)
- PLC programming (Rockwell preferred): 1 year (Preferred)
