Dessert Avenue is a growing café brand founded in 2022 focused on desserts, drinks, breakfast, and savory offerings inspired by global flavors. We are a husband-and-wife owned business building a hospitality-first café experience across DFW.

The Role
We are hiring an Assistant Café Manager to support daily operations and lead shifts at our Lewisville location.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced café environment with real growth potential into Café Manager as the brand expands.
What You Will Do
- Lead daily shifts and ensure smooth café operations
- Support and train baristas and team members
- Maintain service quality, speed, and hospitality standards
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and labor coordination
- Monitor inventory and communicate ordering needs
- Help control waste and improve operational efficiency
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Ensure drink and food consistency across all shifts
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
- Assist with cash handling, register accuracy, and reporting
- Support events, catering, and occasional marketing shoots
- 40-45 hrs weekly
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong communicator and calm leader under pressure
- Experience in cafés, coffee shops, or fast-casual restaurants
- Comfortable leading a team during busy service
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Takes ownership without needing constant supervision
- Passionate about hospitality and guest experience
