Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. We are a small one crew company, stationed in Mossyrock Washington, a beautiful destination town between two lakes right off the cowlitz River, servicing Lewis County Washington and beyond sometimes. If you are hired you will have an 3rd yr apprentice who performs Plumbing duties under houses or wherever needed, and who will do the driving. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across mostly residential or very light commercial service. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while delivering exceptional service to clients. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, water heaters, bathtub and shower replacements, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage in accordance with construction plans and schematics
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine project requirements and ensure proper installation procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components efficiently
- Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation
- Follow all safety regulations and building code compliance standards during installation and repair activities
- Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in service, remodeling, and new construction plumbing projects
- Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical diagrams accurately
- Skilled in pipe installation with PEX piping, ABS waste and vent systems, gas piping systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), system troubleshooting, remodeling, and system upgrades
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for field service tasks
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces safely

Pay: $36.20 - $43.60 per hour
