Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their homes. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications
- Conduct system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to identify issues during installation or service calls
- Perform system start-ups on newly installed HVAC units, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately install systems
- Assist with duct connections, refrigerant handling, and electrical wiring as needed for comprehensive system setup
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for each job
Skills
- Strong construction background with experience in mechanical codes and installation procedures
- Proven installation technician experience with HVAC systems or related mechanical equipment (Minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance practices
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems including R22, R410a, R32, and R454 refrigerants
- EPA Certification
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, and general equipment repair
- Field service experience working directly on-site with customers in residential environments
- Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, brazing equipment, and other mechanical devices confidently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems and safety protocols

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
