About Crew Facility Services: At CREW Facility Services, we deliver elite, high-performance facility management and maintenance solutions to premium clients across the country. We don't just maintain buildings; we engineer seamless environments. As we expand our anchor portfolio, we are looking for a world-class operator to champion our East Region Sports & Entertainment vertical.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, elite Director of Operations (East Region) to orchestrate and scale our sports and entertainment facility services portfolio. This is not a passive, back-office management role; it requires a high-growth operator who functions as a "maestro" on the field—controlling the operational tempo, anticipating challenges before they arise, and managing complex, high-visibility stadium and arena environments with absolute precision.
The Director of Operations will have full ownership of service delivery, P&L management, client relationship engineering, and team leadership across the Eastern United States. You will be responsible for transforming complex event logistics into seamless, world-class guest experiences, ensuring our anchor sports and entertainment accounts reflect a gold-standard level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Mastery & Service Delivery
- Orchestrate Venue Logistics: Oversee comprehensive cleaning, building engineering, and specialized facility services for major stadiums, arenas, and entertainment complexes.
- Precision Event Execution: Ensure flawless execution of high-intensity turnarounds, event transitions, and post-event deployment under tight timelines.
- Tech-Driven Operations: Leverage advanced facility management platforms (such as Upkeep CMMS) to drive data-informed maintenance, maximize asset life cycles, and track labor efficiency.
2. Financial Performance & P&L Management
- Full Fiscal Accountability: Own the regional P&L, managing labor costs, supply chains, and operational budgets to achieve and exceed EBITDA targets.
- Resource Optimization: Implement strict control systems for labor allocation, minimizing overtime while maintaining premium service density during peak event surges.
- Strategic Forecasting: Partner with executive leadership to build accurate financial models, capital expenditure plans, and operational scaling budgets.
3. Strategic Client Relations & Growth
- High-Touch Partnerships: Serve as the primary executive contact for venue owners, team executives, and general managers, building deep trust through transparent communication.
- Retention & Account Expansion: Guarantee 100% contract retention through elite service delivery and identify opportunities for specialized add-on services.
- RFP & Growth Support: Act as the operational subject matter expert during major regional RFP pursuits, helping design winning solutions for new anchor contracts.
4. People Leadership & Culture
- Build the Bench: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of regional managers, site directors, and frontline supervisors.
- Unselfish Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture where success is defined by collective team performance and seamless operational harmony.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with OSHA, local labor laws, and venue-specific regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven Track Record: 8–10+ years of progressive operational leadership within the facility services sector, with a heavy emphasis on the Sports & Entertainment or high-capacity venue verticals.
- P&L Ownership: Demonstrated success managing a regional P&L of significant scale ($15M+ annualized revenue minimum), with a sharp eye for labor optimization.
- Event-Driven Agility: Deep understanding of the unique rhythms, pressure points, and compliance requirements inherent to stadiums, arenas, and large-scale public venues.
- Tech-Savvy Leadership: Comfort utilizing modern, integrated tech stacks (ERP, advanced CMMS, and workforce management platforms) to optimize distributed field operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent elite-level operational experience highly valued.
Core Competencies:
- The "Maestro" Mindset: Possesses exceptional spatial and situational awareness, capable of managing a massive footprint while empowering frontline leaders to execute.
- High-Growth Stamina: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where weekends and evenings are the peak operating windows.
- Refinement Over Reach: A commitment to boutique-level execution—valuing pristine, premium quality over cutting corners for volume.

- Paid Time Off (PTO) and executive benefits package
- A high-visibility leadership role with direct impact on company growth
