Part-Time Cashier
- Must be able to work day, evening and weekend schedules
- Between 16 to 29 hours per week
Job Summary:
To process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean and tidy area, and keeping reports of cash and credit transactions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards
- Answer customers' questions, and provide information.
- Help customers find the location of products.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services, and tabulate bills, using calculators, cash registers
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Monitor checkout stations to ensure they have adequate cash available and are staffed appropriately.
- Post charges against guests' accounts.
- Request information or assistance, using paging systems.
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges.

Required Education, Training and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
