The Prolift Service and Parts Administrator will perform varied daily job duties based on the workflow of a particular day. This position provides effective guidance, excellent communication and overall direction within the Service Department of our Rochester branch. Doing so in a manner which focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction while being cognizant of company profit goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Technical/Community College or four-year degree, preferred
- At least 2 years’ service experience or equivalent support/service experience, preferred (related or similar industry a plus)
Essential Duties:
- The Service Administrator will answer incoming service phone calls to schedule service appointments for the customer.
- Dispatch service technicians to scheduled appointments and/or emergency situations.
- Answer incoming calls from the technicians, who report when they arrive at and leave job sites.
- Input daily service technician time entry into Prolift’s business system (Equipsoft)
- Update, maintain and keep organized equipment service records.
- Work closely with Service department to efficiently support customer needs.
- Monitor performance to assure the best customer service and most efficient use of technicians.
- Efficiently coordinate service activity with other departments: Rental, Parts, Trucking and New Equipment.
- Schedule and monitor PM program – review completion rate and take appropriate actions as necessary to ensure completion percentages are achieved.
- Communicate with customers and Account Managers/Sales Representatives on status of work.
- Provide assistance in creating, updating, closing and invoicing service work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must have intermediate computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)

- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
