Home Manager / Nanny
We are seeking a dependable, nurturing, and organized Home Manager to provide care for a preschool-aged child while assisting with light household management. Hours are primarily afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekend availability. Flexibility is required, as the schedule may vary based on the employer's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and engaging care for a preschool-aged child.
- Maintain daily routines, including meals, naps, hygiene, and activities.
- Assist with homework and educational activities.
- Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organization of children's spaces.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's needs and progress.
- Ability to remain calm and effectively redirect children during emotional outbursts, tantrums, or challenging behaviors using positive and age-appropriate guidance techniques.
- Skilled in redirecting and supporting children through emotional outbursts with patience and positive reinforcement.
- Comfortable working in a home with pets.
Qualifications:
- Previous nanny, babysitting, caregiving, or childcare experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
