Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and caring for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, tummy time, and social interaction
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, milestones, and needs
- Support classroom management by following established routines and behavior management strategies
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and soothing infants as needed, following proper hygiene protocols
- Participate in ongoing training on child development instruction, first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws to ensure best practices
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care techniques is essential
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with classroom experience, behavior management strategies, and early childhood education best practices is desirable
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required or will be provided upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members to support child growth and safety

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
