Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving K-12th grade students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role provides the chance to support students’ growth and independence across three full-time openings. You’ll work collaboratively with school teams and families to improve student access to education and enhance daily functional skills.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with eligibility to practice in California
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal development, and progress documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse learners and a variety of settings
- Motivated to make a positive impact on student success and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in classroom and pull-out formats
- Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and caregivers
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for evaluations and sessions
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ functional skills
- Promote inclusion and participate in school-based initiatives or programs as needed
