Position Summary
The Valet/Bartender plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure. This position is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with valet and bell services, handling luggage, providing hotel and local area information, and responding promptly to guest requests with professionalism and discretion.
As part of our intimate 26-room boutique hotel environment, this role is cross-trained in Bartending and Lobby service support on select shifts throughout the week. This unique opportunity allows team members to build meaningful connections with guests throughout their stay while delivering highly personalized service.

Key Areas of Accountability:
- Greet all guests and visitors in a warm, genuine, and professional manner.

Provide seamless arrival and departure experiences, including opening doors, assisting with luggage, and escorting guests to and from guestrooms.

Provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, local attractions, dining, and entertainment.

Explain guestroom features, including Wi-Fi access, coffee station operation, radiant floor heating, and other in-room amenities.

Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and service needs.

Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times, including adherence to key control procedures.
- Safely valet park and retrieve guest vehicles while maintaining exceptional care and attention.

Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the hotel’s Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

Complete and submit daily mileage logs to the Front Desk.

Serve as chauffeur for guests as directed by management or the Front Desk team.

Ensure all valet operations are conducted safely and professionally, avoiding parking citations or vehicle incidents.
- Work select Bartending and beverage service shifts in the Lobby or Courtyard.

Assist with coffee, beverage, and limited food service as needed.

Support In-Room Dining breakfast delivery during peak service periods.

Deliver guest amenities including champagne, wine, snacks, flowers, and specialty requests prior to arrival or during the guest stay.
- Refresh and reset guestroom coffee trays and minibar items as directed.

Assist with room stripping and inspection of guest supplies when needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of public spaces, courtyard areas, and storage areas.

Support daily operational coordination with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams utilizing the Room Plan.

Assist with organizing workspaces and preparing operational areas for higher occupancy periods.

Complete additional duties and projects as assigned during slower business periods.
- Maintain a polished, well-groomed appearance and pressed uniform at all times.

Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers, managers, and other departments.

Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, discretion, and attention to detail in all interactions.

Read write and speak English fluently

Previous luxury hospitality, valet, bartending, or guest service experience preferred.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand, walk, lift luggage, and remain active throughout the shift.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
