The Laundry Supervisor supports the Laundry Director with administrative tasks and day-to-day operations. This role serves as a backup when the Director is unavailable but primarily focuses on assisting with scheduling, billing, and team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Laundry Director with daily administrative tasks (scheduling, billing, reports)
- Help manage staff scheduling and timekeeping
- Support basic billing and data entry tasks
- Answer client questions and assist with requests as needed
- Step in to oversee operations only when the Director is not present
- Support staff on the floor to keep operations running smoothly
- Help maintain organization, communication, and workflow within the department
Role Expectations
- Acts as support to the Laundry Director — not the primary decision-maker
- Helps keep administrative tasks organized and up to date
- Provides backup leadership only when needed
- Ensures communication between staff and Director stays clear
Qualifications
- Basic supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks (scheduling, data entry, billing)
- Reliable and able to step up when needed
- Previous hotel or commercial laundry experience is a plus
