ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with high pressure water to test vessels

Inspect for leaks
-
Ensure pressure readings are accurate
-
Ensure health and safety are the number one goal by following all policies, processes and acting safely at all times.

Basic knowledge and ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.

Ensures proper use of the equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.

Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE.) This includes but is not limited to respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in multiple number combinations.

May periodically use computers for training purposes.

Performs work in enclosed confined spaces.

Performs work using high pressure water blasting equipment to test pressure vessels.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposed to weather, including extreme temperatures.
-
Required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
-
Ability to climb ladders to heights of up to 20 feet.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.

Ability to wear a respirator.

Ability to work long hours,
-
6+ months of hydro blasting or related experience preferred.

Basic Plus preferred.
