Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair generator systems, including diesel engines, electrical components, and mechanical parts using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on power generation equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues, identify faults, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct repairs involving welding, soldering, and the use of power tools to restore equipment functionality.
- Use hand tools and heavy lifting techniques safely during installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs on complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on power generation or heavy machinery.
- Extensive hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical work, including wiring, soldering, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment brands is preferred.
- Skilled in small engine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and general automotive repair practices.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow technical instructions precisely.

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
