Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable CNC Gerber Cutter Operator to join our upholstered seating furniture manufacturing team. The operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Gerber cutting machines to cut fabric, vinyl, and leather materials according to production specifications. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output in the upholstery production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Gerber cutter to cut fabric, vinyl, and leather materials.
- Review work orders, patterns, and production specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Load and unload materials onto the cutting table.
- Monitor cutting operations to maintain precision and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the CNC cutting machine.
- Ensure efficient material utilization and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with upholstery and production teams to meet deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC Gerber cutting equipment or similar machinery.
- Knowledge of fabric, vinyl, and leather cutting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, specifications, and production documents.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in furniture or upholstery manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills a plus.
Hours: (Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-5:00pm) Friday 7:00 am-4:00pm) 40-43 hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
