HIRING IMMEDIATELY! We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our excellent team! The ideal candidate should excel with organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
We are open Tuesday - Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is open to working a closing shift or mid-day to closing. This position works Tuesday through Friday AND 8 am - close on Saturdays.
Salon Hours for Front Desk:
Tuesday & Thursday: 8 am - 7 pm
Wednesday & Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 3 pm
Front Desk Receptionists typically stay approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour after close time to perform closing duties. There will be a training period.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the salon.
- Check clients in and direct them to the stylist. Check clients out after service.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Schedule and update stylists' schedules.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Keep inventory of stock and stock shelves of retail product. Keep salon clean and tidy.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using phone systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand the scheduling system for the stylists
- Familiarity with computerized systems
- Prior experience in front desk operations is great but we will train
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service
