Village Services is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our commercial laundry facility. This is a working supervisor position responsible for leading production employees, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and helping drive operational efficiency throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with employees and management, and takes pride in delivering quality service to our customers. This position requires a leader who is willing to lead by example, assist production employees when needed, and help ensure daily production goals are achieved.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily production operations within the facility
- Manage workflow to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Supervise, train, coach, and support production employees
- Monitor staffing levels and adjust labor as needed to meet production demands
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met for uniforms, linens, mats, towels, and healthcare textiles
- Work closely with route service, customer service, maintenance, and management teams to resolve production or inventory concerns
- Monitor and maintain production efficiency and productivity goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and communicate repair needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments throughout the plant
- Track production issues and implement process improvements
- Assist with inventory management and linen/uniform controls
- Help maintain proper wash quality, stain removal, and garment presentation standards
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee performance management
- Assist with production operations as needed to support workflow and staffing requirements
- Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude
Physical Requirements
This is an active position requiring:
- Standing and walking for most of the shift
- Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting
- Lifting up to 40 pounds regularly
- Working in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment
- Exposure to heat, humidity, dust, noise, and varying temperatures

Preferred
- Previous supervisory, leadership, or management experience
- Manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or commercial laundry experience
- Experience leading and developing employees
- Experience with production scheduling and labor management
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus
