Steigs Grillhouse is looking for friendly, energetic team members to join our front-of-house staff. As an Order Taker/Food Runner, you'll be the face of our restaurant—greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food, and helping create a great dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take food and beverage orders
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system and process payments
- Answer menu questions and provide recommendations
- Deliver food to tables quickly and accurately
- Answer phones and take takeout orders
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room
- Clear and reset tables as needed
- Restock condiments, utensils, and dining room supplies
- Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service
- Assist with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- Due to regulations with equipment used in this position, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
