CDL Car Hauler Driver – Home Weekends
Dowdy Motor Group (DMG) is seeking a professional, customer-focused vehicle transport driver to join our growing transportation division. We specialize in dealer transfers, auction pickups, OEM transportation, and marine logistics throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Position
CDL Car Hauler Driver
Location: Michigan (preferred)
Equipment: 2026 Ford F-450 + 3-Car Wedge Trailer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Home Most Weekends
Compensation
- 20% of Truck Revenue
- Typical earnings: $60,000–$75,000+ annually
- Weekly direct deposit
- Performance-based earning potential
- Higher earnings when all trailer positions are utilized

Responsibilities
- Safely transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, manufacturers, and customers
- Load and secure vehicles on a 3-car wedge trailer
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete electronic paperwork and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate professionally with customers, dealerships, and dispatch
- Maintain FMCSA compliance and Hours of Service requirements
- Represent Dowdy Motor Group with professionalism and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid CDL (preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Vehicle transport experience preferred but not required
- Experience with vehicle loading and securement
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
