Summary
Our company is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Full charge Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our company.
Experience in the manufacturing and logistics industry is a plus but not required.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following work habits; attention to detail, self-motivation, efficient use of time, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, ability to adapt to changing environments, and produce work that is accurate, thorough, and well documented.
Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Office/ Excel/ Word experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task, set priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Accounting: 5 years+
- Full Charge Bookkeeping: 5 years+
- Accounting Software: 3 years+
- Strong or advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
Areas of Responsibility to include (But are not limited to):
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including bank entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making entries and adjustments as needed.
- Royalty reporting and payment processing
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
- Reconciling payroll and recording journal entries
- Reconciling and preparing sales representative commission reports
- Inventory Transaction Processing
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system, both paper and electronic
- Assist with special projects, depending on needs of manager and staff
- Ensure that all accounting functions are performed correctly and research and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in confidential work environment with sensitive information
- Willingness to learn new software
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Authorized to work in the US
Pay: $27.00 per hour
