Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Weekend Laundry Attendant, where your dedication to cleanliness and efficiency helps create a welcoming experience for every guest. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing hotel linens while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized laundry room. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the housekeeping department has the clean linens needed to prepare guest rooms to Marriott brand standards. Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens according to hotel standards.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and separate items that require repair or replacement.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storage areas and linen closets as needed.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of clean linens throughout each shift.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Empty lint traps and perform routine cleaning of laundry equipment.
- Properly use and store laundry chemicals following safety guidelines.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages to management.
- Assist the housekeeping team with linen organization or other housekeeping duties when needed.
- Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
Skills
- Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push or pull loaded linen carts.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
