Finck Cigar Company, a family-owned Texas cigar company, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow an established wholesale territory across the DFW area and surrounding North Texas markets.
This territory is currently managed by a longtime salesperson who is retiring after 18 years with our company, so the role includes taking over established customer relationships while also developing new business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow relationships with existing wholesale customers
- Prospect for and open new accounts throughout the territory
- Help new customers select products and set up their cigar humidors
- Coordinate refill and reorder business with existing accounts
- Introduce new products, promotions, and sales opportunities
- Maintain customer, prospect, order, and follow-up records
- Travel regularly throughout the territory and work independently in the field
- Coordinate with our office and warehouse teams to keep customers taken care of
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
- Comfortable prospecting and developing new business
- Able to manage a large sales territory and follow up consistently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous sales, account management, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Cigar industry experience is helpful, but not required. Product and industry training will be provided.
About the Position
This is a full-time salaried position with a stable, family-owned company.
Our current sales process is fairly paper-based, but we are actively modernizing our systems. Over the next several months, the role will transition to more technology-based territory and customer management, so candidates should be comfortable learning new tools and processes.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, building long-term customer relationships, and taking ownership of their territory.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
