Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and unload laundry and dry cleaning items while adhering to proper handling procedures.
- Manage lifting tasks safely during the transportation of linens and clothing items throughout the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to uphold hygiene standards in line with hospitality protocols.
- Assist with customer service duties by responding to guest inquiries related to laundry services and processing transactions accurately.
- Handle cashing out customers with proper cash handling procedures while maintaining a friendly attitude.
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations.
- Experience operating pressing machines and other laundry-related machinery efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for managing transactions and inventory counts effectively.
