This is a high-visibility accounting role supporting inventory, costing, variance analysis, and operational reporting within a growing manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with operations, logistics, leadership, and finance teams to help drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze production variances, material costs, labor costs, and cost trends
- Lead month-end close activities, reporting, and general ledger balancing
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle count processes
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and item master data
- Partner with operations, logistics, and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support pricing analysis and communicate cost drivers to leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and fixed asset reconciliations
- Ensure accurate tracking of material, labor, and inventory costs
- Participate in operational meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help improve reporting processes, costing accuracy, and system efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of manufacturing accounting or cost accounting experience
- Experience with inventory, standard costing, BOMs, and variance analysis
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience working within ERP systems preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
