Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with clearing tables by bussing and cleaning to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and safe lifting practices during transportation
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as organizing plates or garnishes
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service
- Manage heavy lifting duties associated with transporting large trays or multiple dishes safely
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and guests professionally
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders when necessary
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency
