Description
We are hiring a Regional Warehouse & Logistics Associate to oversee day-to-day operations at one of our warehouse locations while supporting logistics and inventory needs across multiple yards in the region. This is a hands-on, mid-level role where you will coordinate material movement, maintain inventory accuracy, assist staff, and ensure smooth operations at all locations within your region. This position reports to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operational ownership, working directly with inventory, supporting regional yards, and keeping materials and crews supplied efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Warehouse & Yard Operations
o Oversee day-to-day operations of your primary warehouse and/or yard
o Act as the primary logistics point of contact within your designated region
o Stage, store, and handle materials safely and efficiently
o Assist with loading/unloading materials
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
o Identify and recommend operational improvements to Leadership
· Logistics & Material Handling
o Coordinate transfers and deliveries of materials between warehouses and yards at the direction of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
o Ensure materials are available where and when needed to prevent delays
o Monitor inventory levels at your location and regional yards, working with the Inventory Specialist to maintain necessary stock levels
o Schedule and assist with deliveries to warehouses, yards, and field crews
o Maintain accurate documentation for material movement, deliveries, and transfers. Report all inventory movements to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager and Inventory Specialist
· Consumables & Supply Management
o Monitor and maintain stock of operational consumables at your primary location and assist with regional locations
o Purchase and restock frequently used items such as construction materials, hardware, PPE, tools, and supplies
· Multi-Location & Regional Support
o Conduct site checks or audits at regional yards to ensure standards are maintained
o Support setting up or closure of temporary inventory locations as needed
o Assist with Cycle Counting
o Identify opportunities to improve material flow, warehouse efficiency, and logistics across the region
· Building & Yard Upkeep
o Keep inventory locations clean and organized
o Maintain yard storage areas and material layout
o Monitor materials, tools, and equipment for damage
o Complete and (or report when necessary) maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly
· Delivery & Travel
o Regional travel depending on project needs
o Perform basic vehicle checks before and after trips
o Represent the company professionally in the field
What We’re Looking For
· Skills & Experience
o Strong organizational and operational skills with high attention to detail
o Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues independently
o Hands-on experience in warehouse operations or material handling
o Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, projects, and shipments simultaneously across several locations
o Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-departmentally
o Forklift and material handling experience preferred
o Knowledge of construction or fiber materials is a plus
o Basic Microsoft Office experience (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
· Education & Qualifications
o High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred
o Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
§ CDL Class A Preferred
o Forklift Certification
§ The company can sponsor the correct applicant
o DOT Physical Card and/or ability to obtain one
o Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
· Primarily yard and warehouse-based with occasional office work
· Occasional travel between regional inventory locations
· All seasons, all weather
· Overtime during busy construction periods
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
