We are currently seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver with Van, Roll-Off and Lugger
experience to join our trucking team at our North Chicago, IL facility.
This is a local driving position - home daily.
Responsibilities
- Operate van, roll-off and lugger trucks on local routes
- Deliver and pick up containers from customer locations
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials
- Inspect loads and secure materials for safe transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and activity logs
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Report on mechanical issues or road incidents to dispatch
- Maintain positive relationships with customers

Location: North Chicago, IL
Position Overview:
The primary function o f the Driver is to operate various commercial vehicle and
container combinations for extended periods of time, over long distances between
company and customer facilities, terminals, yards and/or work sites. The Driver's
main role is to pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner.
This individual will report to the Transportation Manager; Drivers are also
supervised and lead by the Dispatchers.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1-year commercial driving experience
- Roll-off and lugger truck experience required
Clean driving record
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures preferred
- Experience using GPS routing systems
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs.
- Frequent climbing, bending, and standing
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Exposure to moving equipment and industrial environments
Wage Range: 68000.00 - 72000.00 per year
