Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Ceramic Coating / Paint Correction Technician to elevate our vehicle finishing team. Duties
- Lead the application of ceramic coatings, ensuring precise coverage and durability standards are met or exceeded
- Perform comprehensive paint correction procedures, including polishing, buffing, and defect removal to achieve flawless finishes
- Supervise and mentor team members in proper use of hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify finish consistency and adherence to specifications
- Handle materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
Skills
- Extensive experience with ceramic coating application and paint correction techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive finishing processes and equipment operation
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and basic math for quality assessments
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Prior experience in painting or automotive finishing
