Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our Church premises on Sundays from 9a-12p. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by implementing comprehensive security measures. Your expertise in surveillance, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response will ensure a secure environment for all. This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a frontline protector while engaging with a diverse community, maintaining high standards of physical security, and managing access control with professionalism and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patrols of the facility and physical security checks to deter unauthorized activity.
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry in accordance with security protocols.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing emergency response procedures.
- Handle conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service are REQUIRED
- Valid certification in firearm handling and Guard Card
- Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions and/or deescalation of specific incidents.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond quickly during emergencies.
