Duties
- Assist techs in identifying, selecting, and ordering RV parts, accessories, and maintenance supplies with enthusiasm and detailed product knowledge
- Manage inventory levels using inventory control systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring stock accuracy and timely replenishment
- Provide expert advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service to help techs troubleshoot issues or contact tech support
- Maintain a clean, organized parts dept by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with vendors via phone or email.
- Handle parts orders and process parts returns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive dealership or parts environment is highly preferred, RV experience is a PLUS
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory using inventory management tools like CMMS or Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks related to vehicle upkeep and store upkeep as needed
