Pay
In addition to the base hourly pay and once you’ve shown proficiency with your performance, you will be eligible for the tip pool. Details of this policy will be shared during the interview.
Summary
As a Front Room Staff Member/Barista at Crocker‘s, you will be an essential part of our team, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. This role contributes significantly to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality bakery items, sandwiches, coffee and other beverages with precision and care.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions
- , memorize the menu and accurately and efficiently present all products. Transactions are recorded using the Square POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, prep anrea annd customer seating area.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service/barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and a food handlers certificate is essential to comply with Orange County health standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
