American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of hospital-based PT experience for a 13-week travel contract in Houston, TX, with rotating weekends required.

Inpatient Physical Therapy department within a 444-bed acute care hospital
-
Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Patient ratio of 1:12
-
Day shift team consists of 1 Charge, 3 PTs, and 2 PTAs
-
Standard hospital equipment used throughout the unit
-
EMR system: Meditech
-
Rotating weekends required
-
13-week contract
-
Minimum 1 year of PT experience in a hospital setting

Must have active PT licensure for the state of Texas (license required if applicable)

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Graduate of an APTA-accredited program required

Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

Primary responsibilities include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions within the PT discipline

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
