American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN/LVN for a 13-week clinic/outpatient assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and active BLS certification.

Outpatient clinic setting designated as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
-
Primary care clinic serving a broad patient population from newborns to geriatrics
-
Up to 25 patients per day in primary care; up to 50 patients per day in walk-in
-
Common cases include skin biopsies, circumcisions, wart removals, minor wound care, and splinting
-
Clinic operates with 19 providers and is supervised by an RN Lead on each shift
-
Works alongside CNAs and CMAs
-
EMR systems used: AEHR and MEDITECH
-
Day shift with varied 8- or 10-hour shifts; 0800–1700 or 0700–1800
-
No weekend or holiday requirements
-
May float to different primary care departments including Pediatrics, Family Medicine, OB, Walk-in, and Internal Medicine

13-week contract

Active state or compact (NLC) LPN/LVN license; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required

Current BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted

Clinic or outpatient experience preferred

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering vaccines, performing EKGs (training provided), assisting with minor procedures, completing patient phone calls, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and working closely with providers

A significant portion of daily work is computer-based using AEHR
-
1 week of department-specific orientation provided

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission
