Hope Comprehensive Center for Development is hiring diligent, enthusiastic behavior technicians to join our team for after-school and/or Saturday care! Behavior technicians provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders in home and community settings. Behavior technicians are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and skill acquisition goals designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are currently hiring for part-time positions throughout the Inland Empire- the role has the possibility to grow into a full-time role over time. The behavior technician will:
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral therapy in center, home, or community with continued guidance and education from our team of supervisors
- HOPE provides new BT’s with a unique extensive paid training so they can deliver effective, applied behavioral analysis (ABA) treatment
- Teach children with autism how to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while reducing any inappropriate behaviors
- Participate in our Parent Support Programs to train and guide our families on behavioral strategies to help their child
- Follow the behavioral program and collecting behavioral data on a company approved technology device
- Collaborate and engage with supervisor and fellow RBT’s in clinical team meetings to report and strategize on the client's progress
Requirements – Entry Level:
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License and Proof of auto insurance liability coverage when applicable.
- A clear 10-year criminal federal, state, and county background check, state and national sex offender registry search, and OIG & GSA Exclusion List check.
- Patience and ability to remain focused in stressful situations.
- A commitment to a culture of service excellence and dependability.
- Passion to work with children and be part of a team
- Energetic attitude and desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Currently enrolled in a college/university or a has a Bachelor’s Degree
- Current valid RBT/BCAT certification (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Availability between 2pm-7pm Mondays through Fridays, and/or between 9am-4pm on Saturdays
