Summary
IT Support members will provide technical assistance to clients taking calls or responding to tickets with some occasional onsite work as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer technical support phone calls and resolve workstation or software issues
- Create and update helpdesk tickets to document incoming customer requests and issues.
- Provide timely IT support and customer service via phone and email to all customers.
- Troubleshoot problems with the operations of various IT hardware including computers, printers, scanners, etc.
- Assist with local onsite IT support and projects
- Assist with Windows 11 Pro, Office 365 and other standardized applications.
- Maintain a professional relationship with all clients.
- Work with other team members to resolve issues to complete customer requests.
- Learn and become familiar with all IT technology implemented at client sites
- Learn terminology associated with dental hardware and software
- Learn how to install, support and troubleshoot dental software and hardware
- Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve technical hardware and software issues for client systems.
- Learn and assist configuring PCs, business software and peripherals for dental offices.
- Read technical documentation to stay up to date on operating systems, IT technologies, dental applications and dental hardware.
- Show the willingness to learn from technical resources and team members.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledgeable with Windows 11, hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Windows Domain environment desirable.
- Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and in tune with developing technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work individually or in team environment while multi-tasking in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Responsive and respective team player with desire to learn and help us grow.
- Experience with Dental Applications such as Dentrix, OpenDental, Dexis, Sidexis, Gendex, Eaglesoft or Carestream products is a plus.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates Degree (AS) in a computer science or information technology
- Professional certifications in related field
- Minimum 2 years of IT work experience required

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
