Camp Winaukee is an overnight boys’ sports camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Winaukee runs for 7 weeks for boys ages 7-15.
While our Athletic Director handles the schedules and tournament logistics, we need an experienced veteran on the field. We are looking for a Head Coach—ideally a PE teacher, high school coach, or middle school coach—to act as a "coach to the coaches." You will oversee the instruction across all of our sports and help our college-aged counselor staff learn how to better teach and coach the game.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach the Coaches: Mentor our collegiate-aged coach-counselors. You’ll observe their clinics and help them run better practices, improve their communication, and bring the highest level of energy to their sport.
- Oversee Camp Sports: Help guide the instructional quality for all of our core sports: Baseball, Lacrosse, Basketball, Tennis, Football, Soccer, Hockey, and Watersports.
- Player Development: Ensure every camper, from ages 7 to 15, is improving their skills, playing hard, and understanding sportsmanship.
- Camp Leadership: Act as a role model and leader on campus. A typical day includes eating meals in the dining hall, being out on the courts and fields, jumping in the lake, and participating in our historic camp traditions!

Who You Are:
- The Veteran: You are a current PE teacher or a school sports coach with several years of experience under your belt.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month
