Clean Harbors, in Dickinson, TX, is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent INSTRUMENTATION and MECHANICAL aptitude to join our safety-focused team!
The I&E Maintenance technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC/Delta V programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the maintenance departments with various tasks as needed such as rebuilding diaphragm pumps, swapping motors, conducting preventative maintenance.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- HS Diploma or Equivalent - required;
- Instrumentation degree, or certification - preferred;
- 4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment - preferred;
- Solid instrumentation skills - required;
- PLC Programming experience (Delta V is preferred) – required;
- Honeywell experience - required;
- Distributed control system (DCS) experience - required;
- Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) - required;
- Mechanical aptitude and experience - required;
- Experience working with 480v and below - required;
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics - required;
- Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID) - required;
- Team player willing to assist where needed - required;
- Ability to prioritize work - required;
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of time - required;
